Take Control Of Your Time, Take Control Of Your Life! |
|
Do you ever feel like you are constantly chasing after time and that there aren't enough hours in the day in order to be able to complete all of your tasks, appointments and responsibilities?
Life, nowadays, is lived at a lightning-pace, added to this, because of technology and the advantages this brings; people are, not only more connected to each other, but are also trying to pack as much into their day as possible.
The advantages of technology, such as cell-phones and the internet, gives us the leverage of being able to do more, with less. When I say more, I am referring to business, family, personal tasks, personal appointments and socializing with friends and when I say less, I am referring to the fact that we can arrange and organize all of these things, in a relatively short amount of time.
The problem, however, lies not in the leverage this technology brings, (I personally think this technology has given myself and others, great advantages and benefits) the problem lies in managing the benefits this technology brings. As I previously stated; because of these benefits, people are trying to pack as much into their day, as possible.

Is True Freedom Only a Foolish Ideal? |
|
Centuries ago, the famous philosopher Jean-Jacques Rousseau stated; "Man is born free; and everywhere he is in chains. One thinks himself the master of others, and still remains a greater slave than they."
While you may think things have changed, or should have changed, since the time of Jean-Jacques Rousseau, these words, however, remain as true today as in the time when Jean-Jacques Rousseau first spoke them.
I am not a part of the corporate world and even though I once was a part of the corporate world, I am thankful that I am no longer a part of this structure, or of the system.
Before I go further, I must state; this article is on the topic of freedom and is not intended as an attack on the corporate world.
I know many people who are a part of the corporate world and although they consider themselves to be well-paid and leading comfortable lives, almost all of them have complained at some time about their long working-hours their working environment, that they haven't been promoted or they haven't received a pay-raise for a long time, that their work is often boring and monotonous and they do not like their boss.

I personally, love the topic of fate versus free will and there have been many times in my life, as I'm sure there have been times in your life, when you have asked yourself the question; “Are we really in control of our lives?”.
Whilst this is not intended to be a religious debate, I will, however, be taking an holistic approach as I go about giving you my view-point in regards to this topic.
Firstly, I believe in God and that God has control over the destiny of humankind and the history of humankind on earth and that God is universal, or omnipresent. I also believe that nothing and no-one can go beyond the will of God in regard to his purpose for us. It is important for me to have stated this, as from now on, I am going to be referring to this topic on a personal level and not, in regards to humankind as a whole.
I think the best answer to this question, is yes and no.
Why do I say this?

How To Succeed In Business |
|
If you would like to know how to succeed in business, there is a principle that should be followed. A principle that constantly proves successful and almost always guarantees success.
I recently came across a blog on WARRIOR FORUM. The blog itself was fairly old, however, the message it was putting across is timeless.
The message put across in the blog wasn’t foreign to me, as I constantly do my best to stick to this principle. This article, though, was not written with the intention to promote the blog, or myself, rather to focus on the main message, or principle, of the particular blog.
We live in a competitive, consumer-oriented society.
Let me first focus on the word, competitive.

The Best Paths To Wealth Creation |
|
The paths with the best potential for wealth creation have remained the same for many centuries.
It is no coincidence that the wealth created by royalty, merchants, business tycoons and entrepreneurs of the past, have followed a similar, although, not necessarily the same, path as the wealth creators of the present day.
In many ways, the wealth creators of the present day, have learnt and followed the lessons given to them, by the wealth creators of the past.
One of the major differences, however, is that the present-day wealth creators have the added leverage and advantage of technology. It is, therefore, far easier for anyone to build wealth, today, than it was in the past.
Although all of the paths to wealth creation, I believe, are of equal importance, I will, however, be starting off, with the path of property.
